Stephen Lock, aka “The Coaching Guy”, is a service improvement specialist and executive coach with 25 years of senior leadership in major healthcare and IT organisations, including Hewlett-Packard (France), the National Health Service (UK) and the National Institute for Health Research. He also runs his own coaching business. Stephen is an expert in progressive organisations and self-organising teams. Skilled at mobilising people towards user-centred delivery.
He has studied improvement theory with Warwick University Business School, leadership with Ashridge Business School and innovation with INSEAD Business School (Paris). He holds an ILM 7 (Institute of Leadership and Management) Certificate in Executive and Senior Leadership Coaching and Mentoring and is a faculty member of the NIHR's Advanced Leadership Programme.
This peer group is made up of Owners, CEOs & Managing Directors IT Service & IT Consultancy companies located in North America, LATAM, Europe and the UK.
Members who join this type of mClub group are responsible for developing and growing mid-sized IT companies ranging from 10 to 200 employees, with annual revenues between 5 and 100 million USD per annum.
Each group is cross-industry, meaning you will not be matched into a group with a potential competitor. Instead, group members gain insight from their peers across a variety of IT Service companies, serving a variety of markets.

The Exploration Discussions
IT Leader peer groups meet once or twice a month, depending on the group, to troubleshoot and share knowledge on the most pressing challenges, trends and insights when managing and operating an IT business.
Each group meeting focuses on a topic which is chosen by the group members and is moderated by the group Chair.
External Topic Experts and Key Participants are often invited to attend group meetings to help tee up the conversations and answer pressing questions on particular topics. Examples can be found below.
The Deep Dive Discussions
Deep Dives can take place at any time during group meetings with one hour per month often dedicated to this exercise.
mClub Deep Dives involve one member of the group bringing forward a particular topic in order to seek counsel from their peers. This topic can be related to a unique professional or company-specific challenge, an opportunity or an idea you are developing within your business.

When does the group meet?
mClub IT Leaders' Groups meet either on the 2nd and 4th Tuesday of the month, or the last Thursday of the month at 5 pm CET / 11 am ET / 8 am PT.
Are there any group rules?
There are no rules as such, but there are some guidelines from the Chairperson to ensure discussions remain focused on outcomes. Members are highly encouraged to attend every session in order to maintain continuity within the group. If you do miss a session, you will receive notes and a private recording of the session.
Is there a cost associated with joining?
Yes, there is a cost to join the group, starting at 150USD/month. You can select the pricing option that suits you best when you create a profile for group registration.

Membership to mClub is by invitation-only.
