Professor Jonathan A.J. Wilson has spent over 20 years in industry and academia, specialising in what he calls the ABCDs of Business and Culture: Advertising, Branding, Communications, and Digital. He is a multi award-winning academic, has published over 200 pieces of work, and spoken at over 100 conferences across the globe. Prof. Jon is a retired touring and session bass guitarist and vocalist who made it onto television, radio, and international concert stages like Glastonbury. He also provided music and character voices for the first few award winning Grand Theft Auto video games.

Group Members


This peer group is designed for Heads, Directors, VP and C-Suite Brand Marketing professionals located in North America, LATAM, Europe and the UK.

Members who join this type of mClub group are responsible for developing and executing brand strategies to promote brand identity and awareness of mid-sized companies ranging from 50 to 500 employees, with annual revenues between 5 and 200 million USD per annum.

Each group is cross-industry, meaning you will not be matched into a group with a potential competitor. Instead, group members gain insight from their peers across a variety of industries and markets.

The Discussions

Online  |  90 mins, twice/month


Brand Marketing peer groups meet once/twice a month to troubleshoot and share knowledge on the most pressing challenges, trends and insights in the world of branding.

Each group meeting focuses on a topic which is chosen by the group members and moderated by the group Chair.

External Topic Experts and Key Participants are often invited to attend group meetings to help tee up the conversations and answer pressing questions on particular topics. Examples can be found below.

mClub Deep Dives involve one member of the group bringing forward a particular topic in order to seek counsel from their peers. This topic can be related to a unique or company-specific challenge, an opportunity or an idea they are developing within their business. 

The purpose of Deep Dives is to ensure each member of the group has the chance to explore particular pressing and trending topics with peers, while at the same time getting the chance to bring industry-specific or company-specific challenges to the floor.

Private Coaching Sessions

Online  |  60 mins / month


Participants in the Executive Coaching & Mentorship Program meet 1:1 with an executive coach, typically once a month online for the coaching aspect of their personal and professional development.

During these private sessions, the coach will spend some time getting to know you, your business, and the challenges you face, before working together to develop a plan to achieve your goals. 

The plan may include specific actions while also offering support and accountability to help you implement the plan over the coming months.

Peers continue the discussion focusing on that month's theme or topic, with guidance from the group moderator who is an Executive Coach.

mClub Coaches are all certified and have years of experience coaching senior leaders and executive leadership in a number of public and private organisations.

We suggest you start meeting your Coach on a monthly basis, but this can be adapted to meet your needs and schedule. Depending on challenge sets and deadlines, some of our Executives opt in for twice-a-month sessions with their Coach. Your package can be adjusted at any time and all sessions are held online.

Peer group sessions take place twice a month for 90 minutes.  

The one-on-one coaching sessions are designed to identify areas for improvement, set specific objectives, and create action plans. During the online session, the coach assists you in developing essential leadership competencies such as communication, decision-making and strategic thinking. Coaches utilize various techniques, including assessments, reflective exercises, role-playing, and feedback sessions, to facilitate your growth and help you to achieve your career goals.

Our Coaches are pretty flexible when it comes to fitting in with your timetable and understand that working with senior leadership sometimes means last-minute situations arise that can cause you to postpone a coaching session. We advise that you contact your coach or a mClub representative at least 24 hours in advance if you cannot make your next session. This gives you and the Coach plenty of time to find a suitable date to reschedule. 

mClub offers affordable coaching options and transparent pricing. There are a number of options to choose from starting at 450 USD per month. Payments can be made on a monthly or quarterly basis. See below for a fully transparent pricing model. 

This is a question we get asked a lot and there is no straightforward answer. It often comes down to the reason why you hire a Coach in the first place. We recommend a minimum of six months to experience a real impact on your career and approach as a leader.
